Challenge
As part of the University of Florida's Gator User Design 2025 Design-A-Thon, my group tackled the challenge of using UI/UX to foster community engagement. This year’s theme, Reimagining Communities, inspired us to explore innovative design solutions that bring people together in meaningful ways.
Solution:
Playground is an app designed to help adults discover and connect with communities through play. Using personality tests and chatrooms, users are able to identify with a personality from 8 characters and explore the city.
Group members:
Ashley Collins: Designed the lo-fi wireframes for the intro of the app, login screens, personality quiz, quiz results, and profile page. Developed main storyboard for advertisement, recorded, and edited video.
